Absolutely Amazing!

Our stay at Himmel House was absolutely amazing! The house is absolutely gorgeous, even more so than the pictures would suggest. The pool is solar heated, so the water is extremely pleasant. It is really more of a lap pool — perfect for our 2 and 4 year olds, but perhaps small for families with teens. The aerial photo gives you a sense of how huge the lot the house sits on truly is, but once you’re in the garden, it feels so much bigger. We didn’t hear another human being during our four days, but were visited by about half a dozen deer at the perimeter fence. And yet you are in fact only a few bike minutes away from some small shops, wineries and the warm springs! Check in was easy and the team at Woodfield Properties was very responsive. The house and especially the kitchen are extremely well-stocked with pots, pans, appliances. The moment you walk in, you won’t want to leave! And, at least until checkout, you sort of don’t have to!
